Cuba: Essential Destination Advice Cuba is a unique and very special destination. However, the service levels can be different from what we experience in the UK and it is very important that clients approach their visit to the Caribbean recognising this fact. When are public holidays in Cuba?
Festivals and local celebrations can rate as local public holidays as well as the Cuban national holidays. Carnival is celebrated in Havana and Santiago in July, but other towns may hold their carnivals in January or February. Please note celebrations can be cancelled or altered according to local restrictions in place at the time.
